Which website we should use to collect fund for Pixelfed?

We gonna need around 5k to run it for a Year hmm

@noor lol I am talking about collecting money not promoting.

Haha, I was kidding about using Twitter for fund raising

@noor I get that but I am confused which service to use

As the Web service targeted Indians, have indian one.

As you have already have UPI,

Simillarly, Paytm, Freecharge be easier alternative

Paytm doesn't work on my phone I already have UPI.

Going to check free charge do they have any feature where I can run complain.

Quick complain resolving with many Online payment processing Web service is major issue.

I've been using a few years for FreeCharge for payouting but not receiving.

I can assure you freecharge is better than paytm in few ways.

What you mean, you can't have paytm on ur device ?

I removed Google play service from my phone and it doesn't start without it

I mostly use Website than apps. Freecharge many useful features on Web as well app.
Have you tried PayTM App ?
Tip: you can shoot out Android X86 on VM or LiveCD and install PayTM app if you need to use it @inditoot
These are better than my suggested.

A few issues.

Indian user base familiarity and usability of these international payment processing is less.

Indian government restricts sending any money out of country. So many debit card or internet banking are useless.

Domestic payment services are widely used here, so I suggested.

@selea @inditoot

@noor @selea

Liberapay uses Stripe and PayPal, PayPal is completely work in India but people don't like subscription model that much here.

And Libra pay also want user to register to donate which is another issue I guess

2 reasons, 1) this account is not well known to crowd 2) donors are viable to use this service @inditoot @selea
